El Rayo Vallecano ha anunciado oficialmente a través de su página web el fichaje de Gaël Kakuta para la próxima temporada. Llega cedido por el Chelsea.
Tras varias semanas de negociaciones entre ambos clubes y el propio jugador se han confirmado las informaciones publicadas por Mercafichajes desde hace varios meses y finalmente el futbolista galo de 23 años formará parte de la plantilla dirigida por Paco Jémez.
Pese a haber despertado el interés de Elche, Sporting de Lisboa, Guingamp o CSKA Moscú, entre otros, el Rayo Vallecano ha logrado persuadir a un Gaël Kakuta que durante su carrera ha defendido la camiseta de Lens, Chelsea, Fulham, Bolton Wanderers, Vitesse y Lazio.
