El Bilbao Basket ha confirmado en su página web el fichaje del pívot lituano Antanas Kavaliauskas para las dos próximas temporadas. El interior báltico llega procedente del VEF Riga.
Kavaliauskas jugó en la NCAA en el Barton CC (2003–2005) y Texas A&M (2005–2007), para posteriormente dar el salto a Europa para jugar en el Panionios (2007–2008) griego y más tarde en las filas del Kavala, Juvecaserta Basket y Societa Veroli Basket, los tres en Italia. En 2011 llegó al VEF Riga, donde ha jugado las dos últimas temporadas.
