Según ha informado USA TODAY, Josh Akognon llegará a la franquicia de Dallas procedente de la liga china para sustituir a Justin Dentmon, el cual no firmará un nuevo contrato.
En esta temporada, con los Liaoning Jiebao Hunters de la la CBA, ha promediado 29 puntos, 3,1 rebotes y 2,1 asistencias en un total de 36 partidos.
